This project focuses in the product Nestea tangerine,
produced by Coca Cola in association with Nestlé, under the
perspective of Marketing. Observing the selling behavior in
comparison with others of its family of products, possible
causes and hypothesis will be brought up.
Through the analysis of Marketing theory and data obtained
within the companies involved in the process, the objective
will be to study and analyze the acceptation of the product
within its market and to verify its potential. In order to
achieve this, a landscape of the ice tea market an the
profile of the target consumers will be drawn.
Beside the part based on raising and analyzing information,
sensorial tests with potential consumers are going to be
accomplished with the intention to evaluate the product,
its aroma and flavor. Indeed its acceptation will be tested
and it will able the comparison with the best selling
flavor of its family: peach.
Reflecting in what have already been done by the
responsible companies and what will be discovered by the
experimentation tests, directions and suggestions are going
to be proposed in order to increase the divulgation and
sales of the product.
