This project aims to apply the discounted cash flow method
to a corporation of the Brazilian
capital markets. The chosen company is Aracruz Celulose
S.A., responsible for 54% of the
Brazilian production and 6% of the world cellulose
production.
The work was done from the stockholder viewpoint who needs
to base his quantitative
analysis on balance sheet projections, commodity price
forecast, installed capacity, production
estimate, macroeconomic scenario, competition, profit
margins, etc.
It also intends to describe the most important evaluation
method broadly utilized by market
analysts.
