The study in question is about the Telemar Company, leader of the telecommunication services. The company s challenge is to adjust itself to the recent law edited by American senators Paul S. Sarbanes and Michael Oxley. Created to establish the confidence of the investors in the American stock market, the law creates a deep change concerning the practice of corporative governance. The objective of this study is to propose a methodology that helps the company balance its internal controls, providing better practice of corporative governance.
