This project aims to evaluate the performance of drag reducing polymers
(DRA) encapsulated in gellan gum micrcapsules in oil ducts under turbulent
flows, when compared to DRA dispersed directly in the base oil, especially
in the application of the microcapsules as a delivery machanism for DRA in
submarine umbilical ducts.
