Active methodologies, such as Challenge Based Learning (CBL), emphasize
the student as the main actor in the learning process, but their adoption is limited by
the lack of digital tools available. This project proposes the Active Learn Hub, a web
platform designed to support the application of the CBL methodology for those who
have no experience in documenting its three phases: Engage, Investigate, and Act.
The solution seeks to support the documentation of projects that apply this
methodology, using the terms offered by it in each phase appropriately. To support the
use of these terms, different resources are offered, such as nudges that function as
cards with tips and usage guidelines. In addition, the platform adopts a gamified
approach to encourage its use. In this way, Active Learn Hub aims to be a good digital
tool option for those who wish to learn about and use the learning methodology, since it
was created and designed with CBL in mind.
