The study consists in showing the importance of a good financial management in a soccer club and the relation between above-average revenues and winning clubs. The study analyzes the case of Flamengo, which with a qualified and commited management, and having a long-term vision, was able to turn the most indebted club of the country into the greatest financial strenght of the brazillian soccer industry. In this study, it was analyzed how this process worked internally in the club, what was necessary to do what was needed to give up to get to the desired results, and how the financial management influenced ithe results of the club inside the soccer fields.
