Resumo:
This study aims to analyze the perception of generation Y, in relation to the provision of training, by companies, as a retention strategy. It was also verified whether the income range interferes in this perception. In order to achieve this final objective, a study was carried out on the motivations of this generation and the next, so that their reasons for staying and leaving companies were well understood. In addition, interviews were conducted with people of generation Y. In the analysis of these results, literatures about generation Y, generation Z, training and development, retention and motivation were used. In the latter, the theories used were: Maslow s Theory, ERP Theory and Theory of Goals.
