|
Innovation and entrepreneurship bring to the surface the emergence of an
ecosystem of its own, which needs elements that surround it to develop and
generate even more innovation, bringing people, resources and opportunities
together for development. Incubators can be understood as one of these
elements. This work seeks to understand the incubation process in the
entrepreneurial environment, its potentialities, benefits and limitations, based on
the incubator of the Genesis Institute, a complementary unit of the Pontifical
Catholic University - PUC Rio and the Artsave startup, which was incubated in
the Genesis Institute. Qualitative interviews were conducted with the purpose of
understanding the process and elaborating suggestions for improvement to the
incubator.
