Resumo:
Student attrition, especially of women, in Computing related courses is still a problem with no solution. With the objective of mitigating this problem, we developed Blogics!, a simulation tool for the collaborative learning of logic circuits to be used in the Introduction to Engineering with Wearable Computing module. The tool was evaluated in a case study, considering its potential as a learning tool and the collaboration dynamics that beginners use to design circuits with an interactive whiteboard. This work describes the implementation and evaluation processes, as well as its theoretical background.
