The evolution of New Information and Communication Technologies and the
usage of smartphones have changed relationships and the way information is carried in
society. Using a smartphone at work creates a new form of interaction between
workers and company. With this, professionals are expected to be accessible at any
time, having their personal and professional lives affected. On the other hand, the
usage of smartphones generates new opportunities for organizations and workers. This
study aims to identify both personal and organizational benefits occasioned by the use
of smartphone for professional purposes.
