Resumo:
The present case study s main objective is to identify, from the perception of public servant of Procuradoria da Republica do Rio de Janeiro, the predominant type of commitment to the institution. To do so, the Three Component Model of Commitment developed by Meyer e Allen (1997) was used. It has three components: affective commitment, continuance commitment and normative commitment. The analysis of the data collected showed that affective commitment was predominant although continuance commitment was also significant.
