Resumo:
This course conclusion work presents a survey to uncover consumer motivations for buying chinese motorcycles. The aim is show consumer perceptions about Chinese motorcycles, in general, to get to the motivational factors that influence their purchasing decision process, both positively and negatively. For this, in-depth interviews were conducted with some chinese motorcycles consumers, wich are all motorcycling internet forum frequenters. The interviews were conducted based on a research script, assembled from the observation of some aspects in these internet forums, and its content is focused on perception and motivation of buying chinese motorcycles. The results obtained with different respondents were similar, despite some discrepancies in their demographics, and revealed a certain prejudice against chinese products in general, including motorcycles, even being the interviewed owners of chinese bikes and claiming being satisfied with their vehicles. However, this chinese products quality paradigm, including motorcycles, seems to be gradually being broken, which means positive influence factor in the purchase decision.
