|
This report provides an overview of Brazil s private equity industry,
discussing its history, current status and outlook. Furthermore, analyzes the main
obstacles for the development of Private Equity Industry in Brazil, from the point
of view of management organizations.
Seeking for a better understanding of those obstacles, we made a case
study with a company that went through the process of Private Equity, but faced
to conflicts of interest, and the result was the failure of the business.
A better understanding of the conflicts of interest arising from investment in
companies is the aim of this study.
