Resumo:
This study aimed to identify the attributes that hinder consumers to buy insurance through the web. A survey of 105 Internet users in the State of Rio de Janeiro was made in order to evaluate if they have already made some kind of insurance. The data was processed in a quantitative way, and turned out to be that the most relevant attributes for these customers were security and Internet experience. Among the attributes cited, it stands out: the level of security, the protection of personal data, to place an order, the site navigation, and the reliability of information. The principal authors studied in this work were the Funenseg (2011), Hoffman (2009), Kotler (2010), Parente (2000). Research by the Institute Datavox (2010), eCommerceOrg (2012) and e-Bit (2011) were used to enhance the work.
