Resumo:
This work consists in understanding the image that Brazilian consumers form about the quality of products from different countries. There are several factors that influence the country of origin image, which may be positive or negative, as well as used as a tool for international differentiation. It was elaborated an exploratory (preliminary) and descriptive research, as well as developed a questionnaire for a sample of Brazilian students from PUC-Rio. Based on the results, characteristics of the students opinions were identified regarding the subject and the country of origin image based on the evaluation of products. The conclusions reached may contribute to international companies willing to explore the Brazilian Market.
