The paper presents the achieved results of an agribusiness plan for
production of vegetable oil for biodiesel from the physic nut – a perennial bush
fruit with high productivity in vegetable oil. After structuring the business, a
detailed analysis of the industry was carried on and the company’s strategy was
defined. This industry presents a considerable potential growth, once biodiesel is
a renewable fuel with a strong environmental appeal. As a conclusion, a finance
feasibility study was prepared to calculate the projects profitability.
