|
The companies are always searching the financial resources for the
development and improvement of its projects. Initial Public Offering is an
alternative that can help them in this process, because is a financing by means of
the issue of shares, with a low cost that ones the practiced ones by the financings
institutions. The objectives of IPO could be the financial resources in the market
as a goal or just be a strategy of the company. The objective of this study is to
analyze the reasons that take a company to open its capital, advantages and
disadvantages of this process and as to keep the condition of public company.
The company Natura Cosméticos S.A will be used as case study, which opened
its capital in May of 2004.
