This research aims to elucidate, through the Scriptures - the soul of theology - the teachings of the Church Fathers, the Magisterium, and the systematic framework of Saint Thomas Aquinas, the nature of angelic illumination and its contribution to humanity s journey toward the beatific vision. It focuses on analyzing the essence and mission of angels, emphasizing their illuminating role in support of humanity and the call for humans to be light in the world. Illumination is intrinsically linked to sanctification, aligning with the threefold path of purification, illumination, and union with divine glory. Exploring angels and the celestial reality is vital for understanding the human journey on earth and discerning where each person s true treasure resides.
