Resumo:
This study analyzes consumers perceptions of products with nutritional and health claims in the context of healthy eating. It is a qualitative, basic, and exploratory research based on a bibliographic review. The concept of healthy eating is complex and influenced by cultural, historical, and socioeconomic factors. Label claims affect food choices but are not the only influencing factor. When misunderstood, they may lead to incorrect decisions. Nutritional labeling must be clear, ethical, and based on scientific evidence. Strategies such as Nutri-Score help guide more conscious decisions. Healthy eating emerges as a trend in the face of challenges such as obesity and population aging. The study concludes that public policies and nutrition education are essential to promote responsible choices.
