This project aims to demonstrate the importance of industrial automation in the measurement and control of fuel levels, both in storage facilities. The proposed solution involves replacing manual systems with an automated configuration that includes a radar level transmitter, ON/OFF solenoid valve, and integration with a SCADA supervisory system. The project presents the theoretical design and modeling of a hypothetical system inspired by a fuel loading terminal, highlighting the benefits in terms of operational safety, measurement accuracy, and reduction of human errors. Furthermore, it proposes a conceptual comparison between two control strategies: traditional ON/OFF control and continuous PID control, based on simulations developed using MATLAB/Simulink. The integration of these technologies enables optimization of the fuel handling process, ensuring greater reliability and compliance with technical and environmental standards.
