Resumo:
This study aimed to examine the adoption and current use of Artificial Intelligence in Strategic Planning processes. For this purpose, an exploratory qualitative study was conducted based on interviews with managers involved in the process. Nine employees from seven companies in various industries and locations were interviewed. The interview responses were mainly analyzed through the perspectives of the Balanced Scorecard and the Technology Acceptance Model. It was concluded that this technology is not yet widely adopted among the companies interviewed for use in this context, being a practice in 3 of the organizations interviewed and being currently under exploration. However, it was shown to be highly valued by managers, who are aware of its advantages, risks and opportunities.
