|
This study compares the financial structure and governance of Sport Club
Corinthians Paulista and Clube de Regatas do Flamengo, highlighting economic
vulnerabilities affecting club sustainability. Based on financial indicators from 2021
to 2023, such as debt ratio, liquidity, and return on assets, the study compares the
financial efficiency of both clubs. Results indicate that Flamengo maintains a solid
and balanced financial management, while Corinthians faces challenges related to
high indebtedness and lack of financial control. The study provides
recommendations to enhance financial sustainability for football clubs.
