Resumo:
This work discusses employee motivation in light of theoretical references relating to strategic people management. The study aimed to analyze the strategic management of goals aimed at high productivity in a financial institution (Company X) and, from the employees perspective, reflect, based on theories from researchers and experts on the subject, whether this is used as a driving tool for employee motivation. In the company studied, in the view of employees, the target regime has been implemented aggressively, affecting not only motivation but also Quality of Life at Work (QWL).
