Resumo:
This work presents the structural design of a wheel hub for off-road vehicles of the Mini Baja type, applying analysis and computational simulation methodologies to ensure its efficiency and performance. The approach begins with a comprehensive literature review, followed by the definition of the project objectives and the collection of essential data for the development phase. Subsequently, the selection of the most suitable material for the application and the choice of bearings are carried out, as these components are also subjected to forces transmitted to the wheel hub. The modeling was developed using SolidWorks, while the structural analyses and simulations of critical operating conditions were conducted in ANSYS, applying the Finite Element Method. The results obtained contributed to the validation of the project, ensuring that the component meets the mechanical and structural requirements necessary for its application in the Mini Baja.
