Resumo:
This work presents a structural analysis conducted on the Tupan vessel, a multipurpose USV developed in Brazil, during a single-point lifting operation. Single-point lifting generates specific loads that differ from those commonly considered in ship structural designs, as they are associated with the dynamic and static forces resulting from navigation. The concentrated loads pose an uncommon challenge in the structural design of vessels that require this type of lifting. Using the 3D modeling software SolidWorks and the numerical analysis software ANSYS, the vessel s lifting operation was modeled using the finite element method to assess the structure s response to the applied loads. The stress and deformation analyses performed on the USV demonstrated that the structure meets the requirements for this operation.
