Resumo:
The purpose of this study is to verify, in avail of the case study of the Brazilian s immediate recognition of Angolan independence, that Brazilian s Foreign Policy was, traditionally ruled by the national interest, in spite of the different approaches put into practice to do so. The Brazilian s Foreign Policy (PEB) analysis, with emphasis in its relation with the African continent and, especially with its Portuguese speaker portion will conduct the reader through all the PEB s development that leads to the analyzed moment of the Angolan independence in November, 11, 1975.
