Resumo: | |||||||||||||
This study explored how public education can enhance the experience of
attending the Special Group parades at Sapucaí. The primary objective was to
examine how communication strategies can facilitate public learning, making the
experience more meaningful and engaging. The research involved 10 interviews
with individuals who have either participated in or expressed interest in attending
Carnival at Sapucaí. The findings revealed significant gaps in current
communication practices, highlighting the need for more effective strategies to
establish relevant connections with the audience. The study also identified
opportunities to improve public engagement, fostering deeper interaction and
understanding of the event. Enhanced communication strategies have the
potential to benefit Carnival organizers, samba schools, and partner companies
by attracting new audiences and revitalizing interest in the spectacle. Additionally,
the study emphasizes the importance of strengthening this relationship to amplify
public knowledge and appreciation of Carnival, celebrated as one of Brazils most
iconic cultural and intangible heritage assets. This approach aims to ensure that
its richness is fully recognized and cherished by a diverse audience.
