Resumo:
Besides being the last phase of logistics, distribution is considered one of the most critical of them all, because it decides whether the service is good or not. This essay is based in a study of a case that happened in a small paper distribution company situated in São João de Meriti, Rio de Janeiro. The aim was to analyze whether respecting a company s deliveries deadline has any effect on how satisfied customers are. Results prove that the deadline is one of the most important variables in the whole process of logistics. The concept of quality is delivering in time.
