Resumo: | |||||||||||||
This study investigates the perception of project managers in the Mediatech
sector in Brazil regarding the risks associated with the incorporation of artificial
intelligence (AI) into project management practices. With a group of experienced
respondents, ranging from five to more than ten years in the field, the research
revealed that most have only a basic knowledge of AI. The methodology involved
mixed analyses to identify perceptions of technical, ethical, and organizational
risks. Among the main findings, concerns about technical failures, improper data
collection, and the possibility of biased AI responses stand out. Experienced
managers emphasized the need for high-quality data and the alignment of AI with
organizational values. Despite risk perceptions, most managers see AI as a
useful tool to streamline bureaucratic tasks and allow a greater focus on
innovation and leadership. It is concluded that, although managers see AI as
having significant potential, they still recommend that its implementation be
carefully monitored to minimize risks.
