Based on the understanding that sexual activity among adolescents and young people may become a social problem due to sexually transmitted infections (STI) and unwanted pregnancies, there is a clear need for debates on issues related to Sex Education, such as for example, sexual initiation, early pregnancy, anatomy and physiology of reproductive organs, occurrence of STs and contraceptive methods. In addition, there is a limitation of schools when dealing with this topic, since the classes, mostly expository, do not open space for discussions and lead to disinterest and distraction from students. For this reason, our objective was to develop the didactic game “Perfil – Educação Sexual”, which deals with questions about the human reproductive system, contraceptive methods and the main sexually transmitted infections, as an auxiliary tool in addressing issues related to Sex Education. The didactic game kit consists of 1 rules manual, 6 colored pawns, 1 60cmx30cm board, 1 dice and 34 cards with ten tips each. Although didactic games contribute to fill in the gaps and facilitate the appropriation of knowledge through enthusiasm, care must be taken not to divert the focus from its real objective and, for this reason, the teacher should use them consciously, so that achieve the proposed objectives.
