Resumo:
Science teaching addresses several issues, from the structuring of a cell to the importance of preserving a species, and the way in which it interferes with the environment. However, science content is often approached in a way that is far from the reality of students. One of the objectives of science classes is to show that human beings are directly linked to nature, and that their actions can impact the entire environment, whether positively or negatively. Aiming at new alternatives to facilitate the students learning process, didactic games have been occupying an important space in classrooms, providing an active methodology, which proposes that the student participate and develop various socio-emotional and cognitive skills. In the study of the preservation of biodiversity, it is necessary to offer new learning alternatives aimed at valuing species that play an essential role for the survival of the planet and that develop individual awareness about their preservation. Therefore, this work aimed to develop a didactic game entitled Tabuleiro das Abelhas for 9th grade elementary school classes about the importance of preserving native stingless bees. The game was based on educational board games and adapted with advantage cards (green cards), disadvantage cards (red cards), pawns and dice. The objective of the game is for students to go through the entire trajectory from the flower to the hive, simulating the advantages and disadvantages that bees face in their common path and in areas close to human coexistence. A lesson plan was also developed for teachers who use the game as part of their activities.
