Resumo:
Chemistry teaching is very much associated with memorizing concepts, this includes teaching the periodic table. In addition, the chemistry worked in the school environment is often disconnected from the student s daily life, making learning uninteresting. Added to this are the facilities and fascination of social media, which provide a large amount of information quickly; the teacher finds himself daily challenged to find strategies to motivate his students learning, and teaching games can be great allies in stimulating student interest. Thus, this work aims to develop a board game on the periodic table to be used as a didactic resource to aid the learning of chemistry in the classroom. And in a playful way, demonstrate to the students the importance and usefulness of the elements represented in it. The game consists of board, inspired by the game ludo; Colorful question letters covering three themes - History and structure of the table (blue letters); elements used in man s daily life (yellow letters) and elements used by industry or harmful (red letters); pedestrians and die. The goal is for students to walk the board and answer questions about the periodic table, following established rules, and thereby build their knowledge of chemistry.
