Resumo:
Biology teaching treats about many important contents to form a citizen and its understanding about the world where it lives. However, some knowledges are abstract and aim only at the memorization of concepts and processes, as the living beings diversity. The methodologies in which the students only listen inside the classroom, without interacting with the class and the teacher, make it as a passive person in your own knowledge process. Alternatively, the didatics games are an active and ludic methodology that makes the student participate and develop many socio-emotional and cognitive skills and competences. In the study of biological diversity, it is important that knowledge is reframed to the environments that surround the student. Rio de Janeiro has many environments and natural beauty, so it s necessary that the studied organisms are, if possible, related to these places, such as the Natural Monument of the Archipelago of the Cagarras Islands (MONA Cagarras), a protected area located 5 km away from Ipanema Beach, RJ. Thus, this work has the objective of elaborating a didactic game for 2nd year classes of High School entitled Pelo mar das Cagarras about benthic and nektonic marine biodiversity present in MONA Cagarras. The game is based on the Mico Game and has adaptations, such as challenge cards with questions about ecology, body characteristics, evolution and environmental impacts. A lesson plan was also developed for teachers to apply the game.
