|
NoSQL databases are a special category of databases which differs in many aspects of
the relational database. The goal of this project focuses on the conceptual modeling of
such databases, in a way to understand what has been done to solve this situation and
at the end suggest a conceptual model which can assist the logical modeling of these
databases, key-value, documents, graphs and relational. From the study of several
scientific articles and material prepared by academics in the field an extensive analysis
was made, from which was made a model proposal. At the end with some extensions to
the ER model, it was created an intermediate layer between the conceptual and logic
modeling steps that incorporates several data models in a single representation.
