Resumo:
The present study identified what are the main motivations and conditions that lead a company to hire executive recruitment agencies, in addition to the main challenges perceived in hiring this service. The field research, via interviews, was carried out with professionals in leadership chairs, such as management or board of directors, mostly within the human resources department of companies from various sectors of the Rio-São Paulo axis, responsible for hiring executives for their companies. The research contributed to the identification of the main motivators that lead companies to hire executive recruitment agencies, in addition to highlighting the criteria used for the selection and hiring of agencies.
