Resumo:
This work presents the advantages and disadvantages of home office for employees and companies. This is a case study applied to the company Blu Instituição de Escolha Ltda, according to the perception of a sample of its employees. This organization switched almost all of its operations to the home office model, driven by the period of isolation caused by the coronavirus pandemic. It investigates employees perceptions regarding their motivations for home office model, through the application of a research questionnaire in November 2023, with the participation of 71 employees from the company Blu Instituição de Escolha Ltda. As results, we confirmed some advantages and disadvantages of home office already raised in academic literature, such as the advantage of having greater flexibility and autonomy at work and the disadvantage of difficulty in having friends and making friends. Finally, the study concludes that Blu company employees are more satisfied and motivated when home office.
