Resumo:
This Bachelor’s Thesis delves into the simulation of short-circuits in electrical systems with the presence of distributed generation, as well as the sizing and adjustment of protections inaccordance with the use of the OpenDSS software. The increasing integration of distributed energy sources, such as solar and wind power, into electrical systems has posed significant challenges in terms of operation and safety. This study aimed to assess the impact of distributed generation on the short-circuit behavior of the network and the effectiveness of protections sized in compliance with IEEE standards.
