|
In this work I give a brief restrospective of the events that occured in Spain and Portugal during the nineteenth century that led to the end of the colonial pact between Portugal and Brazil, and the composition of the first Constituent whose purpose was to draft a Constitution of Brasil en 1823.
My interest in he research is to analyze the influence of the liberal ideology in the constituent debates, trying to understand its failure.
