The search for more sustainable lifestyles has become more urgent over
the years. In a context of increasingly drastic climate change and global
scale measures in order to slow down the harm of human activity to the
environment, the choice for sustainable materials from renewable sources
is revealed as one of the most promising solutions to this problem. The
present work is dedicated to the study of the reinforcement of composites
from natural fibers obtained from coconut, sugar cane bagasse and wood
and the characterization of the mechanical properties to the creep of these
composites, in order to analyze the viability of the use of these materials
as new alternatives to what is usually found in the industries. From
the determination of the creep behavior of these composites, interesting
applications can be identified in constructions, for example , so that both
the economy and the environment benefit from more sustainable options.
Through this study, the deformation curves of the mentioned composites
were traced and, thus, an estimate of their service life was made
