The present study sought to investigate the factors that influence the decisionmaking process of custom-made furniture consumers, with the objective of
assessing the expectations of this target audience, so that custom-made furniture
companies can meet the needs of their customers, in a way that is efficient and
differentiated in relation to the competition. This analysis took place through the
perception of consumers of furniture from the company Italínea Móveis
Planejados, one of the largest furniture chains in the country, and other consumers
in the City of Rio de Janeiro. The result of the research allowed the understanding
of the main indicators for the consumption of customized furniture.
