Resumo:
This quantitative study aims to investigate the relationship between the quality criteria developed by the Brazilian Ministry of Education (MEC) for higher education institutions (HEIs) within the selected educational groups (Yduqs, Cogna, and Ser Educacional) and their respective financial performance in 2021. The research involved quantitative analysis of the quality indices inferred by MEC and the financial indicators of the selected groups. The findings revealed a complex relationship between the quality criteria and the financial performance of HEIs in 2021.
