Resumo:
This work aimed to analyze the knowledge in Financial Education of undergraduate students at the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro and characterize them according to the categorization proposed by Chalub (2022). For this, a questionnaire with 13 questions was created to understand the level of knowledge of the students. The results found demonstrate that the interviewees fit into Category B when it comes to knowledge about Financial Education; but they are in the majority in Category A in relation to making purchase decisions. It can be said that greater attention is needed to teaching Financial Education both in basic education and in higher education.
