The study identified the perception of technical administrative employees of
a Higher Education Institution in Rio de Janeiro about the Positions, Careers and
Salaries Plan practiced by the Institution. Data were collected in the field via a
questionnaire, with 106 respondents. Among the main findings of the research,
there was little knowledge about the job, career and salary plan, which indicates
a possible lack of effective communication and adequate clarification about the
plan s components and benefits.
