The current work consists in improving a model to the numerical simulation of an integrated system to supply electric energy to systems isolated from the distribution network through a PEMFC type fuel cell, steam reformer operating ethanol, photovoltaic panels, battery bank and current inverter. The study aims at optimizing and improving an existing control logic to manage the electric supply to individuals and communities that are not connected to the National Interconnected System - SIN. The system was sized to serve a SIGFI 45 consumer. After the implementation of the system, some simulations were performed in order to characterize the performance of the equipment under different operating conditions and, subsequently, to corroborate the technical validation of the implemented control logic. With the system validated, case studies were made taking into consideration, for example, nine SIGFI45 users using two battery banks, in situations of cloudy days, cloudless days, and panel off.
