Resumo:
This project aims to design, implement, model and control an electromechanical mechanism for a low-cost didactic workbench. This was elaborated with the aim of enabling active learning by carrying out experiments accessible to the Brazilian financial reality. The design requirements were defined so that the bench is portable and allows addressing topics relevant to the disciplines of system dynamics, such as: transient and steady-state response, modeling, verification, classical and modern system control. To accomplish these objectives, hardware and software were designed and developed based on open source tools that allowed virtual instrumentation, its teleoperated control and the implementation of control laws in real time. As a final result, a cost-effective prototype that can be marketed and used in university classes was achieved.
