|
The Sociedade Anônima do Futebol (SAF) is a specific type of company
created exclusively for football clubs. It has governance rules and financial
mechanisms aimed at bringing greater professionalism to club management. The
objective of this study is to analyze how this company model works and assess its
impact on a club that has already adopted this model. To achieve this, we will
examine the financial aspects provided by the SAF, historical data from Clube de
Regatas Vasco da Gama that has transitioned to the SAF, as well as indicators, in
order to analyze how the SAF has changed the reality of this club.
