Resumo:
This study aimed to understand the perception of subordinates about the relationship between their leadership characteristics and their emotional intelligence. Data were collected in the field through interviews with professionals working in companies in Rio de Janeiro in different segments. From the results, it was identified that leaders classified as good leaders have the four elements of emotional intelligence. As main points of improvement for the leaders, communication and feedback stood out.
