This research set out to investigate how metaverse is being included in the
Brazilian music market and how the industry is receiving this change. The
investigation was carried out through the study of secondary data and interviews
with people in the music industry. From the secondary data it was possible to
understand how the music industry has adapted to the changes over the years.
Based on the interviews it was possible to realize that the views on metaverse are
still very distinct. The results point out that it is necessary to be aware of the
adherence to the metaverse and digital inclusion, that it is essential to maintain a
research of trends on an ongoing basis and to frequently adapt digital strategies
for artists.
