Resumo:
The present work consists of the study and understanding of the strategies and actions used by the Human Resources area of a company in the Brazilian electric energy sector, to carry out an organizational change and cultural transformation, after the acquisition of a privatized organization. For this, through a qualitative and exploratory research, interviews were carried out with six members of the company s HR area, for further analysis of the information collected. In short, the interpretation suggests that despite the great differences between a public and a private organization, with the correct strategies, communication, transparency and resilience, a complete cultural change and transformation is possible and spread to the employees there.
