Resumo:
Based on a study of the strategies adopted by the singer Anitta and interviews with professionals in the music market, this paper intends to point out the best strategies for brazilians artists to succeed in internationalizing to the North American music market. The study considered as focus the internationalization strategies in the United States from the release of the song Girl From Rio in April 2021. Concepts such as product adaptation, joint venture, content marketing, sensation and perception were used, in addition to music industry concepts such as featuring and samples. As a result, can be highlighted the importance of social networks, partnerships, adaptation to the target market, and the fan base in the country of origin.
